


While the inspiration was pretty hard, the design itself wasn't too hard to implement in real life. I'd say the biggest problem I had during construction was struggling with the curves and the tiny parts, like the eye on the tallest arch, which had to do a lot more with my technique than with the knife's sharpness. My design concept in general was just following arches and using negative space to create some interesting shadows, which I think was successful.
Overall, this was a pretty relaxing process.
This looks amazing! I love the idea of negative space, and the arches look super well-cut.
