Lee Krasner was born in 1908-1984 in Brooklyn
Lee Krasner is a member of the Abstract Expressionism movement Lee Krasner's own career often was compromised by her role as supportive wife to Jackson Pollock, arguably the most significant postwar American painter, as well as by the male-dominated art world. Krasner was "rediscovered" by feminist art historians during the 1970s and lived to see a greater recognition of her art and career, which continues to grow to this day.
"The key is what is within the artist. The artist can only paint what she or he is about." ~ Lee Krasner

Great job! I liked how you described your artist as the most significant painter in a male dominated world, it really shows emphasis to the artist.
