Introducing Juile Mehretu by Connor Victoria

 


Julie Mehretu was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, somewhere in the year 1950. She is known for her large murals which stimulate our minds. Her visual artwork has been inspired by injustice, politics, literature, and music. Julie Mehretu is still alive and well in her current home of New York City.
